STARDOM Goddesses of Stardom Tag League Night 4
November 12th, 2025 | Sendai PIT in Sendai, Miyagi | Attendance: 308
Night 3 was better than I thought it’d be and I’m hoping for more of the same this time around. Also, I’ve found out some names for some of these teams.
Red Goddesses Block: AquaStella [2] vs. SaoriPoi [4]
Mei Seira and Yuna Mizumori are AquaStella. On paper, this is a pretty exciting match. Mei and Yuna looked to get this going at a fast pace and keep it that way. They did a good job of that, which actually played into their hands strategically but may have hurt the match. There were a handful of moments that felt off or a bit sloppy, possibly caused by styles not meshing. Saori and Poi can work high speed, it’s just not their main forte. For example, Mei was meant to hit a diving Poi with a dropkick, yet it just was mistimed and came off awkwardly. Still, we got some quality moments from pretty much every combination. Both teams picked up near falls on flash pins late until Poi beat Yuna with Fairy-ing Ring in 11:30. A good start to the show that would’ve been better with some smoother aspects. [***¼]
Red Goddesses Block: BMI2000 [2] vs. Miku Kanae and Sareee [2]
BMI2000 jumped their opponents during their entrance, gaining an easy upper hand. However, they didn’t hold it for long because Sareee is a badass who started throwing forearms and turning the tide. Things calmed down after a hot start to BMI2000 cutting the ring in half and isolating Miku. That went down for a while until Sareee got the hot tag and again, put her team in relative control. That was kind of the crux of this match as Sareee did her thing and Miku, despite a solid effort, was getting beaten up. She had a close call when she trapped Ruaka in a submission but it got broken up. Of course, that wasn’t going to happen to the champions as Ruaka put her down with a German Suplex in 9:02. Decent enough but like a lot of BMI2000 matches, it was nothing special. [**¾]
Blue Goddesses Block: Anecon [4] vs. New Sisters [2]
One of my biggest disappointments with Konami ahead of her winning the Wonder of Stardom Title was her lackluster feud with Syuri. It got reignited here as they were on opposing sides. Their exchanges here were better than what we’ve gotten from them in singles matches, so I was pleased. The most interesting bit here was Saki Kashima. She seems to be gaining confidence and wasn’t even doing her usual cowering act, stepping up to both Konami and Rina without fear. She got up from tough shots and found ways to get in her own offense. Things came back around to Konami against Syuri, who were laying into each other with slaps and kicks. This had some good late drama, especially when Rina got Syuri up for the Gory Bomb. Rina has won a lot of big matches so I bit on the possibility of her beating Syuri. Ultimately though, Syuri made her tap to the White Tiger submission in 9:21. This tournament is pretty damn consistent. Another good match. [***¼]
Blue Goddesses Block: Golden Trigger [4] vs. Reiwa Tokyo Towers [0]
It’s a battle of babyfaces here. Though not on the same level of the previous Reiwa Tokyo Towers match, this was another case of powerhouses in there. Bea has worked kind of like a powerhouse and Saya is one of the strongest women on the roster. Other than Lady C’s big swing a few bits of Bea’s offense, I was much more interested in whatever Saya and Ami were doing. They had some good exchanges of big offense and some strong strikes. It takes a lot to hang in there with Saya when it comes to chops and such, so that was impressive for Ami. Again, I’ve been enjoying her much more since her return from injury than before it. She seems to have found something that works. The Blue Thunder Bomb led to a good near fall before Ami hit Like Thunder to beat Saya in 13:21. A good, solid hard hitting main event. [***]
