Randy Savage Biography From ECW Press Due Out Next Year

– Slam Wrestling that a new wrestling-themed biography is in the works for the late WWE Hall of Famer Macho Man Randy Savage. The book will be authored by Jon Finkel. The book will be published by published by ECW Press, and it’s slated for a 2024 release.
Finkel previously announced that he was working on the biography last October. Per Slam Wrestling, Finkel’s agent began pitching the book to publishers last fall before ECW Press bought it and secured the rights.
Finkel told Slam Wrestling on the book, “Macho was one of my favorite entertainers / athletes growing up, and it was one of those that I always wanted to do when the time was right for it. I had a couple other books lined up with other publishers, in 2017, ’18, ’19, and finally decided it was time to get his out there — and they were really into it.”
Randy Savage was one of the all-time greats. Over the course of his career, he became a WWE Champion and a WCW World Heavyweight Champion. He sadly passed away in 2011 at 58 years old. He was posthumously inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2015. As noted, Savage’s brother, Lanny Poffo, who was also a former WWE Superstar, passed away last month. He was 68.
