Roderick Strong & More Added to CMLL International Grand Prix

Roderick Strong is headed to CMLL to take part in the 2026 International Grand Prix, as announced on Wednesday evening. It was announced on last night’s CMLL Informa that Strong will take part in the men’s International Grand Prix, competing on Team World.

In addition to Strong, NJPW’s Yujiro Takahashi and RevPro’s Leon Cage were announced last night. They join the previously-announced PAC, DOUKI, and Austin Aries (the latter representing MLW), with five spots still unannounced.

The talent announced thus far for Team Mexico are Hechicero, Ultimo Guerrero, Mascara Dorada, Titan, Xelhua, and Volador Jr.

The men’s International Grand Prix takes place on August 7th and will be an 11-on-11 cibernetico match, with a single winner crowned at the end. Mistico won the 2025 Grand Prix as well as the 2023 edition.

The August 7th show takes place at Arena Mexico. This will be first time competing in the CMLL International Grand Prix for Roderick Strong.
