ROH COO Joe Koff Promises Company Will Return, Says They Were Never ‘Shutting Down’
– In this week’s ROH Eck’s Files, Kevin Eck revealed that ROH COO Joe Koff will be the guest on the next episode of the ROHStrong Podcast that will be out on Monday, December 20 to discuss the company’s future. Eck released some quotes from the interview, where Koff proclaims that ROH returning is a question of “when” and not “if.”
Koff stated, “What seeped into the narrative … is that we were shutting down, when all we announced is that we were not doing any live events in the first quarter. We never used the words ‘shutting down.'” As noted, ROH is going on a temporary hiatus following last weekend’s Final Battle event, with the company planning a return to live events in April with Supercard of Honor.
With the hiatus, ROH is looking to change its business model. Koff also speaks with Kevin Eck on ROH’s new business model, the new era for the company, Jay Lethal returning at Final Battle, AEW and Impact stars appearing at the event and what that means for the forbidden door, and more.
