Samantha Irvin Confirms She’s Not Going Back To WWE

Samantha Irvin may still have wrestling in her future, but she says that she isn’t returning to WWE. The former WWE ring announcer exited WWE in late 2024. She has yet to appear elsewhere in wrestling due to a two-year non-compete that is keeping her from doing so until October 2026.

Irvin responded to a fan who bemoaned her decision to leave and said that when she returns to wrestling, she’ll be “the manager for a mid-carder in the number two promotion.” Irvin wrote quite simply:

“I’m not going back to WWE.”

The former ring announcer noted in an interview last February that she left WWE because she wanted to be more than a ring announcer. She added:

“I didn’t leave WWE to necessarily pursue anything specific. I just knew that I’m not a ring announcer, and I knew that if I continued going any longer, that was it. It was done. I could kiss any other thing that I wanted to do goodbye. I just need to be myself. That’s literally it.”

Irvin, the wife of AEW star Ricochet, has expressed that she is not done with wrestling. During her time away from the ring, she has released a number of music singles.
