– Soft Ground Wrestling has been gaining a lot of traction lately on social media, and Tate Mayfairs has announced that he’s set up a GoFundMe to help the company. The promotion is based out of Uganda and has earned a lot of attention, particularly on social media, for its DIY approach. Mayfairs announced the GoFundMe on Monday and you can check it out here.
The GoFundMe campaign has a goal of £10,000 (about $12,500) in order to help the company attain the following:
* buy the land they train on
* better facilities
* food
* medicine
* knee pads
* first aid
* water
– In other SGW news, the promotion now has an SGW Championship after Royal Belts and Micheal L Ledesma provided them with a title belt. As you can see in the below tweet, the company is holding a tournament to determine the first SGW Champion:
Appreciative thanx @royalbelts to Mr. Micheal L Ledesma for the donation made of a brand new sgw championship belt. May God bless you. We happily received it well packaged. Sgw now has a brand new tittle belt that is undergoing a tournament. pic.twitter.com/Q8Hr8LdJZg
