Shawn Michaels & Undertaker Recall ‘Train Wreck’ Match At Crown Jewel 2018

Michaels on the match not hurting his feelings: “It so doesn’t bother me. All right, I don’t care that it wasn’t — if that’s going to be the one out of the whatever, the 599 [matches] that went fantastic, uou put one blemish on it and that’s gonna — I could care less.”

Michaels on not letting the criticism get to him: “No one could badger me enough to make me feel bad about that. I’m sorry. Look, the wheels fell off, and then it got ugly.”

The Undertaker on the match: “I mean, it couldn’t have gone any worse. I mean, there was just — oh my gosh. You talk about a train wreck. Of any match you could ever think like, ‘Oh these guys could just mail this in.’ What, 170 years of experience? All top guys who at one point or another…”

Michaels on it being a fitting ending: “I can’t be a member of DX and not have that last match just be completely freaking bonkers.”
