A massive Tornado tag team match has been made official for AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming, with former rivals Swerve Strickland and Hangman Adam Page set to team up for one night only to take on The Opps’ Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata.

Hangman Page was dethroned as AEW World Champion by Samoa Joe at Full Gear. Before the show went off the air, Swerve Strickland returned to television after several months of inactivity. Hangman attacked The Opps on last week’s Dynamite following their match against Dark Order.

On tonight’s Collision, Strickland declared that he has set his sights on the AEW World Title. But before he goes down that route, he agreed to team up with Page at Dynamite: Winter Is Coming to take on Joe’s stablemates, Katsuyori Shibata and Powerhouse Hobbs. The match has since been made official by AEW on social media.

“#AEWDynamite Winter Is Coming! 8 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT. Wednesday 12/10. Tornado Tag Match. Hangman Page/@SwerveConfident vs. @TrueWillieHobbs/@K_Shibata2022. Hell has frozen over! Hangman + Swerve team up for 1 night only to exact some revenge against Hobbs + Shibata, LIVE THIS WEDNESDAY!”

AEW Dynamite: Winter Is Coming will be held at the Gateway Center Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 10.
