Tajiri Says He’s No Longer With WWE
– Tajiri’s WWE return is at an end. The Japanese star posted to Twitter and revealed that he has left the company after a brief return.
In the tweets (translated from Japanese), Tajiri says that the knee injury he suffered in January during a match at an NXT taping, while not too severe, caused WWE”s doctors to consider it risky for him to be back in the ring for them considering his age of forty-six. He notes that he coached at NXT while he was out but has returned to Japan. He says he has no regrets or hard feelings against WWE and thanked William Regal, Triple H and the company for giving him another chance.
Tajiri initially returned to the company last June for the Cruiserweight Classic and then appeared at the December 3rd NXT special from Japan. He signed a new contract that weekend with the company and debuted on 205 Live on Januery 3rd.
