The Hardys Comment on the Possibility of Facing Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods in TNA

The Hardys comment on the prospect of facing The New Day in TNA Wrestling.

Jeff and Matt Hardy recently appeared on the Battleground Podcast, where they were asked about the possibility of facing Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods outside the WWE banner.

As noted previously, The New Day exited WWE this past May after TKO reportedly offered them a restructured deal. The Hardys heaped huge praise on Kofi and Xavier, with Matt claiming that the showdown between the babyface Hardys and heel New Day has the potential to headline Bound for Glory.

Here’s what Jeff Hardy said:

“The New Day could bring hopefully some Booty-Os. It would just be incredible; the thought of us and them outside of WWE is just very strange but cool. It’s cool to see people when they leave WWE and join other dimensions of pro wrestling and succeed. They would bring a lot, man! They’re so animated and so talented, and people love them. They can do it all, man. I would love to see that.”

Matt Hardy on a potential babyface Hardys vs. Heel New Day showdown

“That would be a match we’d love to have, no doubt about it. The Hardys versus The New Day, especially when The New Day kicked out Big E and Kofi/Xavier became bad guys, which is very unique for them. To have The Hardys as the good guys and The New Day as the villains, that would be a hell of a match. I’d love to see it. It’d be nice if we could grab that at TNA; it’d be a hell of a main event for Bound for Glory.”

Meanwhile, The Hardys are set for a huge title match later this month. They will battle The System and The Righteous in a Triple Threat Ladder Match for the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Slammiversary on June 28.
