The Rock has left Las Vegas ahead of WrestleMania, leaving after his appearance at CinemaCon for a good reason: his daughter’s birthday. The Final Boss was in the city for the annual exhibitors trade show, where studios promote and present their coming films to theater chains (and the audience).

As seen in a attendee video, Rock was at the convention to promote the live-action Moana. During the presentation he spoke about his daughters and the importance of having strong female lead characters.

“Being a proud girl dad, three times,” Rock said (per Fightful). “I have a daughter in her 20s, I have ten, I have eight…I have seven. My youngest is going to turn eight tomorrow.”

He added, “Happy birthday Tia, I know you’re going to see this. I love you. I’m coming home tonight.”

The Rock is not advertised for WrestleMania 42, which takes place on April 18th and 19th at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, Nevada. The show will air live on ESPN Unlimited in the US and on Netflix internationally.
