Update on The Vanity Project WWE Contract Status

The Vanity Project have been teased for a promotion to WWE NXT, and a new report has a bit of detail on their contract statuses. Jackson Drake, Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor appeared on Tuesday’s episode of NXT, with the group suggesting that they will be around the Tuesday night brand more regularly in 2026. The trio have been a major part of EVOLVE over the past year.

F4W Online reports that Vanity Project are currently under WWE ID deals and not regular WWE contracts. WWE ID deals give the company the right of first refusal to match offers if another company offers them a contract.

It’s not currently clear whether that will be changing with their potential call-up to NXT.

Drake is the inaugural and current WWE Evolve Men’s Champion, and successfully defended it against Sean Legacy on Wednesday’s episode of EVOLVE.
