Tiffany Stratton Recalls Her Mindset On Day Leading Up To Money In The Bank Cash-In

Tiffany Stratton cashed in her Money in the Bank briefcase to win the WWE Women’s Championship at the start of the year, and she says she was “locked in” the day of the show. Stratton spoke about her mindset the day of the January 3rd episode of Smackdown when she won the title from Nia Jax during a conversation with Love Wrestling and she says she put all her focus into the moment leading up to the title win.
“Honestly, the whole time I was just locked in,” Stratton said (per Fightful). “I was like on autopilot. I was like, I have to cash in tonight. I have to pin Nia Jax.”
She continued, “When it was over and I pinned her and my hand was raised, it was just finally I felt like I could kind of be in the moment and relish and see the crowd and win the title. Yeah, it was just such a surreal moment.”
Stratton is the current champion and will have to deal with Charlotte Flair making her decision on who she faces at WrestleMania on tonight’s episode of WWE Smackdown.
