TNA Announces Their Live Streaming of Backstage Access on Twitter
TNA announced that IMPACT Wrestling streamed its Backstage Access live on Twitter, becoming “the first entertainment company” to stream live via its YouTube partner. This allowed the show to incorporate live tweets from fans into the show in real time, interact with fans during live pay-per-views in live Q&As and even allow fans to choose the main events and choose the fate of a wrestling hopeful.
TNA President Dixie Carter says, “We’ve always tried to keep connected with our fans and social media is a great way to do so. We’ve had a wonderful relationship with Twitter and we’re glad to be able to use their technology to bring the experience to our fans in a new way.”
The stream can be followed at @IMPACTWrestling.
