Tony D’Angelo continues to reign as the NXT Champion.

Tonight’s Great American Bash Premium Live Event saw D’Angelo defend his NXT Championship against Naraku in the opening match.

The highly physical match saw both wrestlers push each other to their limits. Naraku attacked Tony’s bandaged eye throughout the match. At one point, he locked in the crossface to inflict further damage. However, Tony D’Angelo managed to get out of it and locked in the STF.

The champion slowly regained the momentum, flattening Naraku with a Powerbomb off the turnbuckle. After trading shots, Tony laid out Naraku with a Clothesline and a couple of German Suplexes. He followed it up with a pop-up powerslam for a near fall.

Naraku responded with a German Suplex of his own. However, D’Angelo instantly got back to his feet and followed it up with a Chokeslam to secure the pinfall.

Tony D’Angelo’s reign currently stands at 86 days. He won the title in a Fatal Four-Way Match at Stand & Deliver 2026.
