Triple H, Shawn Michaels Open WWE NXT With William Regal, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss

Triple H and Shawn Michaels kicked off NXT Homecoming with a segment that saw appearances by William Regal, Charlotte Flair & Alexa Bliss. Tuesday’s show opened with The Game coming down to the ring at Full Sail University where he talked about the history of NXT at Full Sail and how the fans turned NXT from a whisper into a roar, and now the brand is stronger than ever.

Michaels then came down and said that while Triple H is busy selling out gates and making multi-billion dollar deals, his NXT stars are ready to steer the ship into the future. Triple H said the NXT stars are the best thing on The CW and said what if he decided he wanted to take NXT over again? Michaels said they would then have a big problem.

As the two stared off, Regal came out and said he knew how to settle this: WARGAMES. That brought out Flair and Bliss, who pointed out that whoever was in charge it’s always been the women who ran NXT and how the women’s evolution started at Full Sail. The two named the likes of the Four Horsewomen, Paige, Asuka, Carmella, IYO SKY, Rhea Ripley, and Ember Moon and said that the women have always been part of NXT, and if they’re not down with that, they have two words for you.
