Various News: Updated List Of Royal Rumble Weekend Events, CWF Mid-Atlantic First 2018 Event This Weekend, Over the Top Wrestling Event This Weekend

– PWInsider has an updated list of the independent wrestling events happening during Royal Rumble weekend in Philadelphia.

Friday, January 26: House of Hardcore at the 2300 Arena with Tommy Dreamer & Billy Gunn vs. Joey Mercury & Nick Aldis, plus a HOH Twitch TV title tournament. It streams live on Twitch.TV.

Saturday, January 27: New England’s Beyond Wrestling at the CHIKARA WrestleFactory at 2 PM. This is sold out and will air as an iPPV on the Powerbomb.tv subscription service.

Sunday, January 28: CHIKARA will run their WrestleFactory school at 2 PM with Oceanea & Merlok vs. Crab & Crawdad and Ophidian vs. 17. It will air on the CHIKARAtopia streaming service.

– CWF Mid-Atlantic in North Carolina will run their first event of 2018 this weekend at the Sportatorium in Gibsonville on Saturday. Matches include The All-Stars (Roy Wilkins, Arik Royal, & Mace Li) vs. mystery opponents, Chet Sterling vs. Ethan Alexander Sharpe, Aric Andrews vs. Cam Carter and Jesse Adler vs. Cain Justice. Trevor Lee may miss the show due to Impact Wrestling commitments.

CWF director John Philapavage is currently working on a documentary about talents in the company called “Boys of Gibsonville.”

– Over the Top Wrestling in Ireland has an event on Sunday in Dublin at the Ringside Club at the National Stadium, called “Contenders 5.” It will feature Jordan Devlin vs. Darren Kearney, Doug Williams vs. Michael May, Dave Mastiff vs. LJ Cleary, Nathan Martin vs. El Phantasmo, B Cool & Debbie Keitel vs. Gunther Isaak & Raven Creed and Scotty Davis vs. A Kid.

– Upstate Pro Wrestling will run Rochester, New York on Saturday featuring Mattick vs. Sean Carr vs. Nick Ando for the UPW title as well as Colin Delaney and more.

– CHIKARA will run their National Pro Wrestling Show event on February 18.
