UPDATE: AXS TV has issued a statement about its departure from Verizon as of the start of the year. The network gave a comment to PWInsider about the change in service, which read:

“* Verizon has been a long time distributor of both AXS TV and HDNet Movies and we’ve appreciated their business.

* Our agreement recently expired and unfortunately we could not reach mutually acceptable terms.

* The distribution landscape is changing and popular content has to find its viewers on the most optimal platforms.

* We know AXS TV is valued by our other distributors as shown by recent launches in DC, Atlanta, Nashville, West Palm Beach and Miami.”

ORIGINAL: Verizon Fios is reportedly set to drop AXS TV, the broadcast home of Impact/TNA, at the start of the year. PWInsider reports that several readers have received word that the cable company will no longer carry AXS TV as of January 1st, as the contract between the network and service have come to an end. HDNet Movies, which is a sister network to AXS, is also being removed from the lineup.

This would mean that, unless a new contract is made before then, Verizon Fios customers will not have access to Impact through their cable service. Those viewers would to sign up for TNA+ or Impact Ultimate Insiders on YouTube to be able to watch the show.
