Why Stephanie Vaquer Missed WWE RAW on September 8th

Stephanie Vaquer didn’t work WWE RAW on September 8th despite being advertised to have a contract signing segment with IYO SKY. This set off speculation as to why she missed the show, particularly after Vaquer confirmed that she was not injured.
During the WWE Wrestlepalooza post-show, Triple H addressed the issue (h/t Fightful), saying that Vaquer was “very sick.”
“I’ll let everybody in on a behind-the-scenes secret with Stephanie. In the last few weeks, Stephanie has been very sick. I don’t know all the details of what the flu-type thing going on, but she was very sick. It’s why she missed TV and why there was an odd build to it. She was able to feel well enough and get cleared medically to compete tonight,” said Triple H.
Vaquer beat IYO SKY to win the WWE Women’s Title at Wrestlepalooza.
