Two teams advanced in the AEW Women’s Tag Team Championship Tournament on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite. Toni Storm and Mina Shirakawa moved on in the tournament, defeating Alex Windsor and Riho. In addition, Megan Bayne and Marina Shafir defeated TayJay in a tournament match.

Storm and Shirakawa picked up their win when Storm hit a Storm Zero on Windsor. Shirakawa prevented Riho from saving her partner. Meanwhile, Shafir made Anna Jay tap out to the Mother’s Milk after about nine minutes into the second match to move on with Bayne.

The Timeless Love Bombs will now face Bayne and Shafir in the semifinals of the tournament. The Sisters of Sin will face the Babes of Wrath in the second semifinal match.

You can see highlights from tonight’s matches below. It’s not yet clear when the semifinals and finals will take place. It was reported earlier this month that the finals were expected for AEW Full Gear on Saturday. However, that was proven not to be the case on this week’s show, when a Four Corner Tag Team Match was announced between the semifinalists.

AEW Full Gear takes place from the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. The show airs live on PPV and for a discounted price on HBO Max. 411 will have live coverage of the show.
