WWE announced a huge matchup for today’s SmackDown TV taping at The O2 Arena in London, England. Oba Femi will team with former World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins against The Vision’s Bron Breakker and Austin Theory.
Based on the matchup announcement’s wording, it’s not clear if the matchup will be taped and shown later on this week’s SmackDown or if it will be a dark main event match for the live crowd. The announcement reads, “🇬🇧 @Obaofwwe & @WWERollins team up against @_Theory1 & @bronbreakkerwwe TONIGHT at @TheO2in London!”
As previously reported, Oba Femi came out to make the save for Seth Rollins from a beatdown by The Vision after last night’s Monday Night Raw went off the air. Femi and Breakker also had a face-off, and Femi and Rollins celebrated in the ring together to end the show.
This week’s WWE SmackDown will air on Friday, June 26 on USA Network at 8:00 pm ET. It will also stream on Netflix internationally. Here’s the announced TV lineup so far:
* Kiana James vs. Giulia
* Paige vs. Jacy Jayne
