Dustin Rhodes Identifies One Of ‘Police’ In WWE Raw Segment As His Student

Dustin Rhodes has identified one of the extras that played a police officer in the Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi segment on WWE Raw. Monday’s show opened with a segment between the two rivals to build toward their match at SummerSlam, in which Heyman had a host of police officers to keep Femi at bay. It worked a bit better than security or “police” usually do in such things; in this case, Heyman and Lesnar left, which left Femi to just beat down the cops.

Rhodes posted to his Twitter account to note that one of them was his student Cordell. He wrote:

“The second from the left is Cordell, my student and he is badass.”

Cordell (no last name for his ring name) has been training under Rhodes at the Rhodes Wrestling Academy and has been wrestling for two years. In addition to the school’s Rhodes Wrestling Association, Cordell has worked a match for ROH and one for NJPW this year. The latter match came at the NJPW Academy 3rd Ann​iversary Showcase in March, where he defeated Jovannissi Cruz.

Femi and Lesnar will compete inside Hell in a Cell at WWE SummerSlam, which takes place on August 1st and 2nd from US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
