WWE Reportedly Considering Increased Road Schedule For NXT TV Tapings

WWE NXT looks like it may be going out on the road more often for TV tapings, according to a new report. The report comes from Wrestlevotes Radio on Fightful Select and states that the company is looking at potentially doing more tapings outside of the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida.

According to the report, WWE is looking to get more road reps for the talent that works NXT TV. The CW is said to be “fully on board” according to sources, as it would benefit the show in a variety of ways. The NXT tapings at the PC tend to have many of the same fans week in and week out.

The report makes it clear that WWE does not have any plans to completely abandon using the PC for NXT tapings. It is not clear how much of an expansion it would be if it does end up happening.

WWE NXT went on the road several times this year, hitting venues like The Theater at Madison Square Garden for NXT Gold Rush. The show airs (generally) live on The CW and Netflix internationally.
