WWE Library Programming Reportedly Leaving Peacock This Month

PWInsider has an update on WWE programming from its library on NBCUniversal’s Peacock service. According to the report, it was discovered that WCW content is listed as leaving the streamer on December 31.
While other fans have reportedly claimed WWE and ECW-branded content listed as expiring soon, the outlet hasn’t yet seen those expiration dates for the content.
WWE and NBC Universal previously signed a multi-year agreement to make Peacock the exclusive streaming rights to WWE programming in the US in January 2021. Earlier this year, WWE signed a deal with ESPN to make the ESPN App the new streaming home of WWE premium live events. The deal kicked off ahead of its originally announced date last September with Wrestlepalooza 2025.
WWE began its previous WWE Network migration to Peacock in March 2021. PWInsider notes that the existing WWE Network/WWE content library material would expire in March 2026. However, now it looks to be expiring somewhat ahead of schedule.
Other WWE library shows on Peacock include Championship Wrestling from Florida, Mid-Atlantic Wrestling, World Class Championship Wrestling, Mid-South/UWF, and Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Original WWE programs, like documentaries produced by WWE Studios, are also available on the platform.
For the time being, it looks like wrestling fans now have a limited amount of time to catch up on older shows on Peacock before the WWE library leaves the streamer soon.
