WWE Reportedly Doesn’t Like Fans Chanting ’10’ For Tye Dillinger

In the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (via SportsKeeda), Dave Meltzer had an interesting reason for why Tye Dillinger has only been used sparingly on WWE TV. Dillinger was last seen last week, drawing #10 at the Royal Rumble but getting beat up backstage by Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. He followed that up with a loss to Baron Corbin. According to the Observer, the reason for the lack of Dillinger on WWE TV is that WWE does not like the “10” chants.

Meltzer said: “Dillinger is just a guy on the brand that works prelims and they put him at number 10 and it makes for a cute minute for people to chant 10, which they don’t even want people to chant anyway. That’s why they keep him off TV so much because they don’t want people chanting 10. So the whole thing is completely stupid.

This follows reports that WWE also doesn’t want fans to chant “One Fall,” so they had Greg Hamilton change the way he announces matches.
