WWE SmackDown Drops in Overnight Viewership This Week, Rating Steady

– SpoilerTV has the overnight preliminary TV numbers for last night’s edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX. Last night’s show averaged 2.056 million viewers. That’s based on the show drawing 2.056 million viewers for both hours.
John Cena made a surprise appearance on last night’s show. He confirmed his appearance for the final episode of SmackDown of 2022 on December 30, where he will team up with Kevin Owens against Roman Reigns and Sami Zayn.
Viewership was down this week from last week’s show, which drew 2.098 million viewers for the overnight audience. For comparison, the final viewing audience for last week’s show was 2.306 million viewers for the final viewing audience.
In the P18-49 key ratings demo, SmackDown averaged a 0.5 rating, which is identical to the overnight rating for last week. The final key demo rating for last week was 0.57.
WWE SmackDown managed to top the ratings in the key demo for primetime broadcast programming on Friday. A rerun of ABC’s Shark Tank topped Friday viewership with 3.003 million viewers.
