WWE Smackdown Rating Sinks For Halloween

– The rating for the Halloween episode of Smackdown dove from last week. Tuesday’s episode hit a four-month low in ratings and viewership with a 0.65 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 2.119 million viewers, down 20% and 21% from last week’s 0.81 and 2.699 million viewers. Both numbers were the worst since the June 13th episode of the show, which had a 0.63 demo rating and 2.072 million viewers.

Obviously the holiday had a big impact on the numbers, as did the World Series game on FOX which pulled in a 6.0 demo rating and 18.92 million viewers. Smackdown ranked #2 for the night among cable originals per Showbuzz Daily, behind American Horror Story: Cult on FX (0.72 demo rating, 1.483 million viewers).
