WWE Survivor Series on November 29 at Petco Park in San Diego currently still has only a couple of matches announced. In the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Dave Meltzer noted that several match plans remain “up in the air,” and early expectations based on recent WWE television do not match the lineups being discussed internally.

Dave Meltzer reported that the men’s and women’s WarGames matches seem to be the only elements moving forward as planned. The men’s WarGames match is expected to include CM Punk, Cody Rhodes, Jey Uso, and two additional competitors. Their opponents are listed as Logan Paul, Bron Breakker, and Bronson Reed, with two more names to be determined (Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory were originally planned for these spots). Logan Paul is filling the position intended initially for Seth Rollins, as the latter was ruled out due to injury. Rhodes is expected to take the slot previously associated with Jacob Fatu. The remaining babyface options could be LA Knight or Jimmy Uso. Neither major men’s world championship is reportedly scheduled to be on the Survivor Series card at this time.

The women’s WarGames match features Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss, with a fifth partner yet to be confirmed. Their opponents include Asuka, Kairi Sane, Nia Jax, and Lash Legend. Earlier outlines involved AJ Lee on the babyface side and Becky Lynch on the heel side. Adjustments may depend on developments scheduled for the November 17 RAW at Madison Square Garden, including a possible match between Lynch and Maxxine Dupri.

Additional matches that are likely include Stephanie Vaquer facing Nikki Bella, though it is not finalized. John Cena is expected for the show but his match is still up in the air and may be addressed at the November 17 RAW at Madison Square Garden. Meltzer also noted that a potential bout between Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio was previously discussed but is not listed as active for the event.

Jade Cargill vs. Charlotte Flair was subtly teased on Smackdown, but it is more likely that that match will happen further down the line.
