Donald Cerrone vs. Robbie Lawler Set for UFC 213 During International Fight Week

Per ESPN’s Brett Okamoto, UFC President Dana White has confirmed that Robbie Lawler is set to fight Donald Cerrone in a welterweight clash at UFC 213. The fight card will be held during International Fight Week in July in Las Vegas.

Lawler has not fought since he lost the UFC welterweight title to Tyron Woodley last July at UFC 201 when he was knocked out in the first round. Cerrone himself is coming off a knockout loss to Jorge Masvidal at UFC on FOX 23. This is a fight that Cerrone has desired for quite some time, and both fighters match up for what is expected to be a very fan-friendly, exciting battle.

UFC 213 is set for July 8 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The main card will be broadcast live on PPV. Prelims will be shown on FS1 and UFC Fight pass.
