– At Friday’s Forgotten Championship Wrestling event, Sid Vicious will be replacing Scott Hall. The event will be held at Brooklyn’s MCU Field, and scheduled to appear are Tommy Dreamer, Jimmy Snuka, Nikolai Volkoff and Brutus Beefcake. More information is available here.

– The Torrington Register Citizen has an article up, discussing the charity work that Northeast Wrestling does. On October 1st, the promotion will have an event in Waterbury to benefit the Police Athletic League. Listed as appearing are Carlito, Bryan Danielson, Shelton Benjamin, Mickie James and Awesome Kong. – From Daniel Fournier and Pwinsider.com: This Thursday night at 10pm a show called Stan Lee’s Superhuman will have a feature on New England Independent wrestler John Ferraro(who works the New England Indies as Gino Martino). The show will be examining his hard skull and the things he does not only in wrestling but in his extreme strongman stunts that he performs at shows.
