– According to Pwinsider.com, United States Tennis Association executive Michelle Wilson has resigned from the USTA so that she can take a position with World Wrestling Entertainment.

– Trish Stratus had a new WWE Universe blog up, discussing Victoria’s retirement, saying: “Her departure was the last of a group of women who collectively raised the bar in women’s wrestling. A time when of the core players that made up the women’s roster, 9 of them were champions, 6 of them becoming champion for the first time, second time, etc. During that time we saw the introduction of new characters and the reinvention of others, good guys and bad, each offering something different than the other – a flavor for everyone.” You can check out the full blog here.

– Former WWE star, turned MMA fighter Bobby Lashley recently sat down for an interview with Sherdog.com. Lashey says that he can match up with any heavyweight in MMA, and then discusses the UFC: “I think it’s not going to be my decision or my manager’s decision. Ultimately, it’s going to be Dana White’s decision. I think they understand what I’m doing right now. I’m not just trying to jump in there right away. If we jumped in there right now it’s just a professional wrestler fighting. I want to feel comfortable in the ring and I want to build myself up. I want to be an established MMA fighter, than take on those big fights.” You can read the full interview here.
