– During a recent edition of Ric Flair’s WOOOOO! Nation podcast, fellow WWE Hall of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin appeared as a guest. During the interview, Stone Cold Steve Austin brought up the issue of John Cena potentially breaking Ric Flair’s 16 world title record in pro wrestling. Cena currently has 15 world title runs.

Speaking on how Vince McMahon would handle it if Cena breaks the record, Austin stated: “He’ll make up something that if [Cena] gets to 17, his were all WWE and Ric’s place is still special. So with all due respect to John Cena, if he was to get to 17 and they eclipse your number 16, does it mean the same in a guy’s book like mine, ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin, my thoughts? It’s not even the same ballpark.”

Flair responded that he didn’t care if Cena breaks the record. He said: “I don’t care. I don’t think about it,” Flair said. “I don’t have any belts hanging in my room. I’m lucky. I have more fun than anybody alive. That I know for sure.”
