As Christian makes his way down to the ramp for the opening contest, we see that MIZ and R-TRUTH are sitting in the front row! They may have been fired by Triple H, but they seem to have tickets to the show. They seem to have a right to be here, but that’s not enough to keep John Laurinaitis from marching down to ringside and ejecting them from the arena.
Sheamus vs. Christian
Sheamus and Christian lock up to start, and Sheamus immediately shoves Christian to the corner. Sheamus grabs a standing side head lock and takes Christian down to the mat with a head lock takedown. Sheamus tries to pull drape Christian over the top rope, but Christian escapes to the outside. Sheamus chases Christian around the ring, but Christian catches him with a bitch slap as they both slide back into the ring. That only serves to infuriate Sheamus, so he drapes Christian over the top rope and hammers on his chest. Sheamus whips Christian to the ropes and charges toward him, but Christian gets a boot up in Sheamus’ face. Christian heads up to the second rope and dives at Sheamus, but Sheamus catches him and slams him down to the mat. Sheamus heads up to the top rope and sets up for the flying battering ram, but Christian knocks him off the top and all the way down to the arena floor. Sheamus climbs back into the ring and slugs away on Christian, but Christian heads up to the second rope and drops Christian with a flying back elbow shot. Sheamus gets back to his feet, but Christian catches him in a sleeper hold. Christian grapevines his legs around Sheamus’ gut, but Sheamus falls backward to slam Christian to the mat and break the hold. Christian beats Sheamus down to his knees and goes to work with a volleys of punches and kicks. Sheamus fights back to his feet and hits the ropes, but Christian connects with a knee to the gut. Christian heads up top and hits a missile drop kick for a two count. Sheamus regains control and pounds on Christian’s back until Christian collapses down to the mat. Sheamus waits for Christian to get back to his feet and levels him with a running clothesline. Christian gets back to his feet but eats another running clothesline. Christian hits the rope, but Sheamus catches him with a boot the gut. Sheamus lifts Christian up into a military press, but Christian slides out the back. Christian goes for the Kill Switch, but Sheamus counters and shoves Christian to the ropes. Sheamus hits a backbreaker but only gets a two count. Sheamus sets up for the Celtic Cross, but Christian escapes. Christian heads up top, but Sheamus heads to the corner and pounds away on him. Christian regains control with a between the ropes kick to the head and follows up with a Tornado DDT for a two count. Christian goes for the Kill Switch again, but Sheamus once again counters and shoves Christian to the corner. Sheamus tries to head up top, but Christian grabs a leg to prevent Sheamus from climbing. Christian beats down Sheamus in the corner, but Sheamus kicks him in the face and skins the cat up to the top. Sheamus connects with the flying battering ram and gets a two count. Sheamus heads out to the ring apron, but Christian hits him with a shoulder to the gut before sliding between Sheamus’ legs and pulling him off the ring apron. Christian shoves Sheamus to the ring post and then levels him with a spear on the outside. Christian rolls back into the ring as the referee begins his count on Sheamus. Sheamus slides back into the ring at 8 but immediately eats a spear from Christian for a LONG two count. I really thought Christian had it there. Christian heads up top and goes for a flying headbutt, but Sheamus just manages to slide out of the way. Sheamus goes for the Celtic Cross, but Christian counters into the Kill Switch, but Sheamus counters and shoves Christian to the corner. Sheamus hits the ropes and damn near decapitates Christian with the Brogue Kick for the three count.
Match Result: Sheamus defeats Christian with the Brogue Kick.

Sin Cara vs. Sin Cara
Note: For the purposes of this recap, I’ll be referring to the original Sin Cara (i.e., Mistico) as Sin Cara and the second Sin Cara (i.e., Hunico) as Dark Sin Cara.
Sin Cara and Dark Sin Cara lock up to start, but Dark Sin Cara transitions into a bow and arrow. Sin Cara flips out of the hold and lands on top of Dark Sin Cara for a one count. Sin Cara and Dark Sin Cara lock up in a test of strength, but Dark Sin Cara gets a back trip to send Sin Cara to the mat. Sin Cara pulls himself up onto Dark Sin Cara’s shoulders to break the hold, and then they trade flying head scissors takedowns. Dark Sin Cara beats Sin Cara down to the mat with clubbing forearm shots to the back, but Sin Cara hits the ropes and takes down Dark Sin Cara with a springboard flying head scissors takedown. Sin Cara tosses Dark Sin Cara out of the ring and levels him with a dive over the top rope. Sin Cara goes for the Asai Moonsault, but Dark Sin Cara just manages to roll out of the way causing Sin Cara to crash to the arena floor. Dark Sin Cara rolls Sin Cara back into the ring and hits a slingshot senton for a two count. Dark Sin Cara kicks Sin Cara’s lower back and traps him in the corner. Dark Sin Cara chops the chest and whips Sin Cara to the opposite corner. Dark Sin Cara tosses Sin Cara to the outside and connects with a dive of his own. Dark Sin Cara rolls Sin Cara back into the ring and gest a two count. Dark Sin Cara applies a seated rear chin lock and goes for a back suplex, but Sin Cara floats over and lands on his feet. Sin Cara goes for a springboard handspring back elbow shot, but Dark Sin Cara tries to roll underneath him. This accidentally causes Sin Cara to awkwardly land right on Dark Sin Cara, so both men need to take a second to reset. Sin Cara sends Dark Sin Cara out of the ring and hits him with a big splash from the top rope to the outside. Both men head back into the ring and head up top, but Sin Cara catches Dark Sin Cara with an big top rope arm drag. Sin Cara heads back up top and goes for a senton splash, but Dark Sin Cara rolls out of the way. Dark Sin Cara goes for a powerbomb, but Sin Cara counters into a sunset flip for the three count.
Match Result: Sin Cara defeats Dark Sin Cara with a sunset flip.

WWE Tag Team Championship Match
Kofi Kingston & Evan Bourne (Champions) vs. Dolph Ziggler & Jack Swagger w/ Vickie Guerrero
It’s Kingston and Swagger to start, but Kingston quickly leverages Swagger to the corner and makes the tag to Bourne. Kingston lifts Swagger as Bourne heads up top and connects with a double stomp to the back. Swagger escapes and makes the tag to Ziggler, but Bourne makes the tag to Kingston. Bourne and Kingston double team Ziggler in the corner, and Kingston quickly makes the tag back to Bourne. Kingston holds Bourne as Bourne hits a head scissors takedown. Ziggler finally manages to make the tag to Swagger, and Swagger beats Bourne down to the mat. Swagger rolls Bourne to the corner and makes the tag to Ziggler. Ziggler drops and elbow and gets a two count, but Bourne still manages to roll to the corner and make the tag to Kingston. Kingston hits the ropes, but Vickie Guerrero low bridges the middle rope and sends Kingston tumbling to the outside. Ziggler rolls Kingston back into the ring and gets a two count. Ziggler locks in the sleeper hold and shoves Kingston down to the mat. Ziggler levels Kingston with a standing drop kick and gets another two count. Ziggler makes the tag to Swagger, and Swagger distracts the referee as Ziggler works over Kingston. Swagger makes the tag back to Ziggler, and Ziggler drops an elbow for another two count. Ziggler tags Swagger and Swagger locks in the Ankle Lock, but Kingston flips out to break the hold. Kingston dives for the corner to try to make the tag, but Swagger catches Kingston on his shoulder. Kingston counters in a DDT, and both men are down. Kingston crawls to the corner and FINALLY makes the hot tag to Bourne as Swagger makes the tag to Ziggler. Bourne cleans house and gets a LONG two count on Ziggler. Ziggler goes for the Fameasser, but Bourne counters into a standing moonsault for a two count. Swagger rushes into the ring and locks in the Ankle Lock even though he isn’t the legal man. Kingston heads up top and takes out Swagger with a big splash to even the score. Bourne rolls up Ziggler for a two count. Ziggler makes the tag to Swagger and helps Swagger set up Bourne for a top rope powerbomb, but Bourne counters into a top rope hurricanrana for the three count as Kingston pulls Ziggler to the outside to prevent him from breaking up the pin.
Match Result: Evan Bourne defeats Jack Swagger with a top rope hurricanrana.

Hell in a Cell Match for the World Heavyweight Championship
Mark Henry (Champion) vs. Randy Orton
Orton goes right after Henry, traps him in the corner, and kicks him down to the mat. Henry rolls out of the ring, but Orton follows Henry and grates his forehead across the cage wall. Henry lifts Orton onto his shoulder and tries to spear him into the cell, but Orton slides out the back and rams Henry into the cell. Orton rolls Henry back into the ring and drops a knee. Henry gets back to his feet on the ring apron. Orton goes for the rope assisted DDT, but Henry counters into a headbutt. Both men head out of the ring, and Henry twists Orton’s shoulder around the ring post. Orton reverses the leverage and slams Henry into the ring post before climbing up onto the ring apron and stomping on Henry’s head on shoulders. Orton launches himself off the ring apron toward Henry, but Henry catches Orton and slams him into the cell and into the ring post. Henry rolls Orton back into the ring and connects with a running power slam that shook the entire ring. Henry headbutts Orton out of the ring and follows him to the outside. Orton kicks Henry in the gut, and we’ve got a slugfest on the outside. Henry gets the better of that altercation and hits Orton with a running power slam on the outside. That looked… painful. Henry dismantled the ring steps and tosses the upper section to the side. Henry bounces Orton off the cell and hurls the ring steps at him, but Orton just manages to slide out of the way. Henry lifts Orton onto his shoulder and spears him face-first into the cell. “WELCOME TO MY HELL!” – Mark Henry to Randy Orton. Henry grates Orton’s face across the cage wall and rolls Orton back into the ring. Henry hits the ropes and flattens Orton with a big splash for a LONG two count. Henry connects with a back breaker, drags Orton off the mat, and connects with a second back breaker for another two count. Henry locks in a bear hug and squeezes the life out of Orton. That’s the kind of great old-school move that works perfectly for Henry. Orton tries to break the hold with a volley of headbutts, but Henry rushes Orton to the corner and slams him back-first into the top turnbuckle. Henry lets Orton fall to the mat and stands on his back. Henry reapplies the bear hug and adds a headbutt for good measure. Henry flings Orton out of the ring and slowly follows him. Henry lifts Orton and goes for the World’s Strongest Slam on the ring steps, but Orton grabs the cell and climbs to safety. Orton drops down to the arena floor and hits Henry with a DDT on the ring steps. Orton bounces Henry around the ring and finally rolls him back into the ring. Orton hits the ropes, ducks a clothesline, and connects with a Thesz Press. Orton goes to work with the mounted punches and follows up with a standing drop kick. Henry gets back to his feet on the ring apron, and Orton catches him with the rope assisted DDT. Orton hits the RKO… BUT ONLY GETS A TWO COUNT! MARK HENRY KICKED OUT OF THE RKO! Orton is distraught, and rightfully so. Orton heads to the corner and sets up for the skull punt. Orton charges at Henry, but Henry springs to his feet and hits Orton with the World’s Strongest Slam for the three count.
Match Result: Mark Henry defeats Randy Orton with the World’s Strongest Slam.

After the match, Henry retrieves a steel chair from ringside as the cage raises toward the ceiling. Henry brings the chair back into the ring and hits Orton with another World’s Strongest Slam. Henry wraps the chair around Orton’s ankle and heads up top, but Orton moves his leg when Henry goes for the splash. Orton gets back to his feet and beats Henry all the way back up the ramp with the steel chair.
Cody Rhodes makes his way down to the ring to address the crowd. The people in this crowd are hideous monstrosities that should be figuratively euthanized. And just like that, the current Intercontinental Championship belt should be put out of its misery. Rhodes dumps the belt in a paper bag and reaches into a velvet bag to retrieve… THE CLASSIC WHITE LEATHER INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPIONSHIP BELT! The crowd pops like crazy for the classic belt! He promises to defend the title anytime, anyplace, anywhere. That brings John Laurinaitis out from the back to announce that Rhodes will be defending the belt RIGHT NOW against… John Morrison.
Intercontinental Championship Match
Cody Rhodes (Champion) vs. John Morrison
Morrison catches Rhodes with a quick roll-up for a two count. Morrison hits a head lock takedown, but Rhodes breaks the hold and gets back to his feet. Rhodes and Morrison hits the ropes, but Morrison holds the ropes to avoid a drop kick from Rhodes. Morrison hits another head lock takedown, but Rhodes again breaks the hold and slides to the outside to catch a breather. Morrison follows Rhodes to the outside, connects with an uppercut, and rolls Rhodes back into the ring. Rhodes again slides out of the ring and starts to head to the back, but Morrison again follows him and brings him back to ringside. Rhodes latches on to the ring post and appears to be praying for a count-out. Morrison breaks Rhodes’ hold on the ring post with a kick to the back and rolls Rhodes back into the ring, but Rhodes drops Morrison with a face mask assisted headbutt. Rhodes applies a seated abdominal stretch. Rhodes goes for the Alabama Slamma, but Morrison floats over. Rhodes locks in the Figure Four Leg Lock, but Morrison makes it to the ropes to break the hold. Rhodes drags Morrison to his feet and drops him with a single punch. Rhodes drops a knee onto Morrison’s face, but Morrison gets back to his feet and pounds on Rhodes in the corner. Morrison drops Rhodes with a spinning back heel kick and gets a two count. Morrison sets up Rhodes for Starship Pain, but Rhodes grabs the legs to prevent Morrison from heading up top. Morrison goes for a back suplex, but Rhodes floats over. Morrison connects with a Pele Kick but misses the Flying Chuck. Rhodes rolls up Morrison and gets the three count.
Match Result: Cody Rhodes defeats John Morrison with a roll-up pin.
Match Length: 7:23
In the back, John Laurinaitis runs in to Triple H’s office to tell Triple H that there’s a situation in the locker room. Triple H and Laurinaitis run to the locker room to find MIZ and R-TRUTH brutally beating Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne. Security remove Miz and Truth from the building (again), and Triple H berates Laurinaitis for letting this happen.
WWE Divas Championship Match
Kelly Kelly (Champion) w/ Eve Torres vs. Beth Phoenix w/ Natalya
Kelly heads up top and catches Beth and a flying cross body for a two count. Kelly hits Beth with a head scissors takedown, but Beth muscles Kelly to the corner and ties her up in the tree of woe. Beth connects with a low drop kick to Kelly’s face and follows up with a snapmare takedown. Kelly fights back to her feet, but Beth grabs a handful of hair and slams her back down to the mat. Beth drives her elbow into Kelly’s lower back and then tauntingly spanks her. Beth connects with a backbreaker and then presses Kelly over her knee in a modified bow and arrow. Kelly fights out with knee shots to the head and rolls up Beth for a two count. Beth hits a gorgeous slingshot suplex and goes for a powerbomb, but Kelly counters into a hurricanrana for a two count. Beth goes to work with a furious volley of mounted punches and gets a two count of her own. Beth drapes Kelly over the second rope and charges her, but Kelly just manages to slide out of the way. Kelly hits Beth with a neck breaker, and then Kelly and Beth trade roll-up pins. Beth goes for the Glam Slam, but Kelly counters into a backslide pin attempt. Beth muscles Kelly to the corner and goes for a splash, but Kelly again just manages to slide out of the way. Kelly hits a handspring back elbow shot in the corner and heads up top for a top rope bulldog. Kelly goes for the cover and gets a LONG two count. Natalya hops up onto the ring apron to root on Beth, but Eve pulls her back down to the arena floor. Eve attacks Natalya, but Natalya regains control and whips Eve into the guard rail. Kelly goes for the K2, but Beth counters into the bridging leg lock submission that Natalya has been using recently. Natalya gets on the microphone to taunt Kelly, but Kelly makes in to the rope. The referee pulls Beth away, but Natalya hits Kelly with the microphone while the referee has his back turned. Beth drags Kelly back to her feet, hits the Glam Slam, and gets the three count.
Match Result: Beth Phoenix defeats Kelly Kelly with the Glam Slam.

Triple Threat Hell in a Cell Match for the WWE Championship
John Cena (Champions) vs. CM Punk vs. Alberto Del Rio
We start the match with all three men chasing each other in and out of the ring, but Cena eventually traps Del Rio in the corner. Cena stomps a mud hole in Del Rio, but Punk pulls Cena off and continues to work over Del Rio. Cena pulls Punk off and once again kicks away on Del Rio. Punk sneaks up behind Cena and gets a quick school boy pin for a two count. Cena goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Punk counters into the Go To Sleep, but Cena counters into the STF, but Punk kicks Cena to the outside. Del Rio attacks Cena on the outside, but Punk hits a suicide dive to take out both men. Cena is down on the outside, so Punk and Del Rio slide back into the ring and slug it out in the middle of the ring. Punk whips Del Rio to the corner and heads to the outside to retrieve a steel chair from under the ring. Punk slides the chair into the ring, but Cena attacks from the blind side. Cena whips Punk to the ring steps, but Punk hops up onto them. Del Rio rushes Punk from the blind side and shoves him off the ring steps and into the cell wall. Cena and Del Rio scurry back into the ring and both go for the steel chair. Del Rio grabs it and wedges it in the corner, but Cena drops Del Rio with a running shoulder block. Cena hits Del Rio with the Five Knuckle Shuffle and goes for the Attitude Adjustment, but Del Rio counters into the cross arm breaker, but Punk breaks in up with a kick to the skull. Punk whips Del Rio out of the ring, heads to the outside, and retrieves a table from under the ring. Punk sets up the table on the outside and connects with a running knee shot to Cena on the ring apron. Punk sets up for a bulldog through the table, but Cena shoves Punk off the ring apron and into the cell wall. Cena climbs back into the ring, but Del Rio drops him with a chair shot to the gut. Del Rio sets up the chair in the middle of the ring and back suplexes Cena through the chair for a two count. Del Rio sets Cena on the top turnbuckle and gives him a stiff forearm shot to the back. Del Rio ties up Cena in the tree of woe and goes for a shoulder shot to the gut, but Cena pulls himself up causing Del Rio to post his shoulder. Cena sets up for the diving leg drop bulldog, but Punk pulls the ropes to sends Cena tumbling to the floor. Punk climbs back into the ring and charges at Del Rio, but Del Rio catches him with a short clothesline. Del Rio locks in a rear chin lock and muscles Punk down to the mat. Punk begins to fight back to his feet, but Cena heads up top and connects with the diving leg drop bulldog to both men. Cena covers Del Rio but only gets a two count. Cena covers Punk but again only gets a two count. Del Rio rolls to the outside and Cena and Punk trade punches and kicks in the middle of the ring. Punk goes for the Go To Sleep, but Del Rio returns to the ring with a steel chair and hits Punk with a chair shot to the gut. Punk puts the chair on Cena, puts Punk on top of the chair on top of Cena, and comes off the top rope with a senton to both men. Del Rio goes for the cross arm breaker on Punk, but Punk dumps Del Rio over the top rope and onto the ring steps. The ring blocked our view of Del Rio’s contact, but it sounded nasty. Cena hits Punk with the Attitude Adjustment, but Del Rio storms the ring to break up the pin. Del Rio goes for the cross arm breaker, but Punk hits a slingshot senton from the ring apron to break the hold. Del Rio and Punk head to the outside, and Del Rio whips Punk into the cell wall. Del Rio whips Punk over the ring steps and launches a steel chair into Punk’s leg. Del Rio climbs back into the ring, but Cena gets an inside cradle for a two count. Del Rio levels Cena with a short clothesline and then sends Cena to the outside. Del Rio whips Cena into the ring steps and then into the cell wall. Del Rio grabs the steel chair and beats on Cena. Del Rio and Punk head back into the ring, and Punk drops Del Rio with a clothesline. Punk hits a scoop slam, heads up to the top turnbuckle, and hits the Macho Man Elbow Drop for a two count. Cena returns to the ring, hits Punk with a running shoulder block, and follows up with the Protobomb. Cena sets up for the Five Knuckle Shuffle, but Punk kicks him in the head. Punk heads up top and sets up for another Macho Man Elbow Drop, but Del Rio shoves Punk off the top and through the table at ringside. Cena catches Del Rio in the STF, but Ricardo Rodriguez attacks the outside referee and steals the key to the cell. Rodriguez unlocks the cell and heads inside with a lead pipe, so Cena breaks the hold and hits Rodriguez with the Attitude Adjustment on the outside. Cena and Rodriguez spill out of the cell, so Del Rio grabs the key and locks the cell from the inside. JOHN CENA IS NOW LOCKED OUT OF THE CELL. Back in the cell, Del Rio slides Punk into the ring and hits him with the rope assisted enzuigiri for a two count. Del Rio goes for the cross arm breaker, but Punk shoves him to the corner. Punk connects with a knee shot in the corner and follows up with a bulldog. Punk hits a slingshot clothesline and gets a two count. Cena has finally realized that he’s been locked out of the cell, and he’s trying to pry the door open from the outside. Del Rio hits Punk with the lead pipe and then taunts the stranded Cena. Punk goes for the Go To Sleep, but Del Rio again hits him with the lead pipe to escape. Del Rio levels Punk with the lead pipe and gets the three count.
Match Result: Alberto Del Rio defeats CM Punk with a lead pipe shot.
Match Length: 23:58
After the match, the cell begins to rise to the ceiling. Cena slides back into the ring and attacks Del Rio, but MIZ and R-TRUTH enter the ring and attack Cena. Triple H and John Laurinaitis make their way down the ramp, but the cell is re-lowered. Del Rio, Cena, and Punk are now trapped in the cage with Miz and Truth. Punk and Truth attack all three men as the locker room clears and tries to break into the cell. The entire roster has surrounded the cell as Miz and R-Truth continue to assault Del Rio, Cena, Punk, and the referee. Security finally arrive with bolt cutters, and Miz and Truth drop to their knees with their hands on their heads. Miz and Truth are put in handcuffs in the ring. Miz and Truth are led up the ramp in handcuffs, but Triple H attacks both men. John Laurinaitis pulls Triple H off of Miz and Truth, but Triple H shoves Laurinaitis to the ground. Triple H is pulled up the ramp as security takes Miz and Truth to the back.
