Welcome to 411’s LIVE WWE Raw Report 7.01.13

Yo, yo, yo!! It’s the BEST RAW Recap on the interwebz, and I’m here for what you need! Unless you need a hug. I don’t do hugs. After a pretty solid affair last week, the Dubz is looking to continue their trend of bad-assery. Let’s see what they have for us tonight!

We start with ol Vick G in the back who says we will be honoring both the WWE and World Titles tonight. They symbolize the rich history of prestige and greatness. She wants to thank the McMahon fam for allowing her to make the match tonight: Alberto Del Rio v John Cena. And the crowd goes…mild sauce.

After the intro, Daniel Bryan‘s music hits, and it’s promo time for Goat Face. Admittedly, I miss the first few minutes due to some unforeseen circumstances that have nothing to do with an iguana running over a remote. Bryan refers to his MITB win two years ago, and it’s been far too long since he’s held top gold. Just because this particular Money in the Bank is filled with all-stars doesn’t mean history can’t repeat. He will be WWE Champion, damnit. Ah, but the red-headed bully Sheamus is here, and he wants to tell everyone just how Bryan’s famous little story ended, you know…the 18-seconds ending?

Sheamus isn’t out here to say he’s going to win the MITB match, but it has been far too long since Sheamus has held the Championship and he won’t be letting anyone in his way. Bryan wants to know if there is anyway Sheamus can Brogue Kick himself in the face. Sheamus didn’t know Bryan had a sense of humor, cuz trolls are supposed to be grumpy…ahhhh, is that Ragsdale’s problem?! (BAH-ZING!))

Randy Orton wants to point out that it’s been 2 years since he’s been champion, and he comes out to do so. He’s not hungry, he’s starving. A starving man takes what he needs. So, after he wins the contract, he will not hesitate like Cena did last year. He will do so on the first unexpecting champion. Bryan knows some stuffs. He knows that last week, Bryan made Orton tap out. The crowd lets Randy know, too. Orton says if Bryan disrespects him one more time, he will drop him. Orton says no one is safe. And BOOM, goes the dyno, as Kane comes out…sans music as well. hmmmm.

Kane agrees with Orton. Not nobody is safe up in here! No one in the history of the WWE has been more ruthless as Kane. He has no issue committing unspeakable acts against his opponents, even his friends. I should say that the briefcase is looming above, since the camera panned over it. Kane can’t wait till the MITB Allstars Ladder Match. Bryan and Kane fight over who is going to be WWE Champion.

Christian is here to quell the fiyah. He brings up his ladder match history and brings up his need for ONE MORE MATCH. He may not be the strongest, scariest, or hairest, but he is the best.

CM Punk claims he made a promise that he wasn’t going to do what everyone in the world here was doin, and come out, just like all of them, but he heard the word “best.” Punk respects Christian, he really does. Sincerely. But not only is Punk the best in the world, he is also the best at the MITB ladder match. He’s won it twice, and very soon, he’ll be winning it three times. He doesn’t want any of the gents in the ring to misunderstand, though. Actually, he doesn’t care if they do. The fact is no one can touch him in this ring. Punk knows RVD’s gameplan. He is aware of his lack of fear. Sheamus is one of the toughest SOB’s. Orton….

Bryan cuts him off and goes all meta. He tells Punk if he says one more word, he’ll make Punk tap faster than Orton did last week. Orton is all like, “say whaaaa? and goes after Bryan. Kane stands in front. Bryan takes offense, and Orton RKO’s Kane. haha. Everyone is at a standstill as we go to….break?

Yes, yes we go to break as Kane and Bryan are left in the middle of the ring.

-commercial break-

Bray Wyatt wants to talk about riddles.

Ya like rematches? We got ya rematches!

Match 1: Six Man Tag Match
The Shield vs. Christian and The Usos

We start with Rollins and Jimmy…I think. Rollins with some rights into the corner, but Uso fights out until he gets kicked by Seth. a ducked clothesline ends in a spinning elbow from Uso. Tag to Jey (I think), and he hits a right elbow into a pin for 1. Rollins attacks the jaw then tags in Ambrose. Ambrose with some rights in the corner, but Uso twerks the arm, tags in Christian, and Christian drops an arm on Ambrose’s left. He pulls it a bit, slaps the face, hits the ropes…and runs right into a knee. Whip, and Christian with a drop-toe. Christian looks to hop over the apron and hit an uppercut, but Ambrose moves out the way. The Shield are standing on the outside, and The Usos fly into the tag team champs. Christian with a cross body over the ropes, and we get a break!

On the WWE APP, it has exclusive footage that will be shown to you, thereby making it not exclusive at all.

In the ring, Rollins and Ambrose hit a double suplex onto Uso, and pins for 2. Ambrose with some kicks to the gut, then locks in a bit of a deathlock and chin lock. Uso is about to rele4ase the legs, but Ambrose sends him into The Shield’s corner. Tag to Reigns, and he headbutts Uso a bit. Uso is about to fight out of it, though, only for Reigns to turn an offensive manuever into a slam! Pin, but it’s broken up at 2 by Uso! Ambrose gets the tag, and he claps for some motivation ala Christian. The only issue is that the crowd actually goes for it. This leads to a kick from the Uso, but Ambrose is able to tag in Seth. Another Superkick attempt, but Rollins blocks it, and both men go down after a clothesline. Uso is able to tag first, though, and in comes Christian. Clothesline. Dropkick from the top! Pin for 1…2..NO!!! Christian mounts Rollins in the corner, gets two kicks in. Rollins runs, but gets flipped over Christian’s back! He attacks Reigns, Ambrose falls, and he turns right into a kick to the head! Ambrose is tagged in and he attacks the head! Christian hits the inverted DDT. Pin for 1…2…NO! Usos are in, Reigns knocks one over and belly to bellys the other Uso over the ropes, following him along! Ambrose gets caught up for the Unprettier, but Ambrose gets out of it. Christian gets hung up by The Shield, then turns right into a roll up for 1…2..3!!!
Official Result: The Shield
Absolutely nothing of note for the first half of the match, but the second half was fast paced and a lot of fun.
RATING: **1/2

Backstage, Kane is pacing. Bryan apoligizes about earlier and got Kane something to make it up to him. Kane says he has done enough. Bryan thinks Kane is upset about SD. Kane says to stay out of his business. But Bryan was able to get him a rematch and Bryan will be the Special Guest Referee.

Match 2: Dolph Ziggler vs. Jinder Mahal

Jinder starts with kick, then hits the back with a forearm. Whip into the ropes, but Ziggler holds on and does a little Flair strut. Drop Toe hold by Ziggler, then he punks Jinder in like my least favorite move of WWE 13 ever, complete with slaps. Some rope work ends with Ziggler missing a dropkick, and Jinder hitting a running knee to the face. Pin for 1…2..NO! Jinder with some right kicks to the fallen Ziggler. Ziggler with a double-underhook toss and a pin for 1…2..NO! Mahal stomps Ziggler then drops a knee. Another knee. One more is denied as Ziggler holds his boots up and Jinder’s chin says hello. Ziggler pushes Jinder into the corner face first then hits a dropkick and a pin for 1…2..NO! Whip and Ziggler kicks. Jinder is able to catch him, though, nd hits a body slam. Pin for 1…2..NO! Let’s Go Ziggler chant. Jinder goes for a camel clutch, but Ziggler scoots out of it and hits the Zig Zag from outta nowhere.
Official Result: Dolph Ziggler
Fast-paced and surprisingly fun, but no one doubted the end.
RATING: *

After the match, Slater and McIntyre attempt to attack Ziggler, but Ziggles is too quick for them! He leaves the ring, hops over the steps, and causes some miscommunication, allowing Jinder to get clotheslined by Jinder. Ziggler hits the Zig Zag again on the outside, then steps on the table giving the universal sign for the belt is mine.

Backstage, Brad Maddox wants to know why Vickie is all stressed out. Here’s Triple H to interrupt Vickie’s impressions of the McMahons. Triple H wants to let us know why he is here. He thinks they are doing a good job, because she is listening to the Universe. The Champ vs Champ and Kane Orton rematch is magnifique! Vickie is just stressed about the “other family members.” Triple H says to listen to everything they have to say…then don’t do any of it. What you do is listen to Triple H. He then walks away, leaving Vickie more confused than she gets at a buffet.

Video Package time! It’s a Mark Henry one, so somewhere, at this very moment, Andy Critchell is watching with both a smile and a tear on his face…

Keep in mind, if you are reading this anywhere else besides 411wrestling.com/wrestling, a little angel is losing her wings.

Match 3: Kane vs Randy Orton
w/ Special Guest Referee: Daniel Bryan

Bryan calls for the bell and Kane runs with a right. Orton ducks it and sends Kane into the corner with some rights. Kane is able to reverse it, but it’s short lived and Orton does some work in the corner until Bryan breaks it up. Here’s Kane with an uppercut. Kane gets Orton into a corner and drives some knees into his chest. Bryan counts to four then sends Kane back. Orton with a kick then a headbutt. We’re in the middle of the ring, and Orton hits the ropes…then the back elbow of Kane. Kane with a snapmare into a dropkick to the face of Orton. Pin for 1…2..NO! Shoulder pinch from behind by Kane. Orton stands and tries to turn into it, then hits a couple of elbows. Orton with a headbutt, then runs, floats over, pushes Kane, Lou Thesz Press! Right hands from Orton, then he stomps the hand, the leg, the other, walks around the ring, then hits a few other stomps, ending with a kne to the face. Pin for 1.

Kane with an uppercut, then a right, and another uppercut. A kick to the gut, and a suplex from Kane! Kane with an uppercut, then a knee to the face, another. Kane gets Orton’s head and lets the ropes pet it for a bit. Kane kicks Orton out of the ring. Kane heads out, as Bryan starts the count. He sends Orton in the ring and Orton heads to the corner. Kane tries for a clothesline, but Orton moves and gets some right hands of his own. Orton up top and he’s looking for right hands. Orton pulls him off, and Orton gets mad. Orton shoves Bryan, but it’s only so lightly, and Bryan calls for the DQ.

Kane doesn’t like this decision and wants the match restarted…and we do.

Orton with a dropkick, sending Kane to the outside as we go to break. And just in time because my pizza is here!!!

Back, and Kane has the chinlock locked on tight. He twerks the head a bit as the crowd chants for Bryan. Orton is up, turning into it. Orton with some rights, then a couple of headbutts. Orton into the corner, Kane with a clothesline! Opposite corner, same move! Sidewalk slam! Kane is going up top! He goes for the clothesline, but Orton with the DROPKICK!! Official Result: Kane
A fun match that adds fuel to the fire that burns in Bryan, Kane and Orton.
RATING: **

After the match, Kane argues about the end. He goozles Bryan! He’s gonna chokeslam his ass!! Kane struggles with the decision…then lets go. The crowd is pretty loud. Bryan yells from the ring. Here’s Orton from behind. RKO!!

Backstage, Punk is telling Heyman and Axel that he will beat the Primetime Players by himself. Axel will only have to stand there. Heyman doesn’t get the hostility. Punk says he trusts Heyman, but he doesn’t trust Axel. Heyman tells Punk to trust his judgment then, because he trusts Axel…

FANDANGO is back, jack!

Match 4: Fandango vs Sheamus

oh….boy. Fandango dies a little jig after dodging a clothesline from Sheamus. haha. The crowd boos. Sheamus goes for another, and Fandango ducks, that, too! This time, Fandango goes for a clothesline, so Sheamus does a little Irish twist of his own! Sheamus stops with the nonsense, though, and hits a knee, then a hard right to the gut. He gets a kick for his troubles, but comes back with a hard clothesline. Sheamus with a suplex and a pin for 1…2.NO! Sheamus sends Fandango into the orner, and hits a few rights to the head. Sheamus with a whip, ducks down, and Fandango hits a kick, then some chops. Rope work into an elbow. Fandango pins for 1. Whip to the ropes, goes for a hip toss, but Sheamus holds on and hits a clothesline, then a shoulder in the corner, followed by a knee. Fandango to the outside. Sheamus follows. He whips Fandango to the barricade, back first, then rolls him inside. Fandango heads right back out, though. haha.

Sheamus grabs the hair of Fandango, but Fandango kicks high. Back in the ring, Sheamus hits a kick then grabs the chin, only for Fandango to hit another swinging kick to the head! Pin for 1..2..NO! Fandango with some stomps. Right hands. We get a chickenwing from Fandango onto the redhead, and he really works it in until Sheamus turns into it. Fandango ain’t havin that noise, though, so he hits a knee, then locks in a cravat from behind. Sheamus has Fandango in the corner until he hits an axehandle. Fandango with a kick, heads to the apron, and here’s Sheamus to hit his nipple repeatedly. Fandango follows it up with a right, sending Fandango to the outside. Fandango sits at the bottom of the ramp, and he’s opting to forget about this match. The ref hits the 10, and Fandango doesn’t get the bully treatment.
Official Result: Sheamus via Countout
Fandango didn’t look too bad in there, and although I don’t particularly like countouts, I’m glad Fandango didn’t get the typical treatment Sheamus opponents do.

Jericho is joining us on commentary. Yay! He wishes us a Happy Canada Day. Ah, thanks, dude!

Remember, if you’re not reading this report on www.411wrestling.com, the angel of the Shockmaster will come to your first child’s birthday party.

Match 5: The Miz vs Ryback

I like when The Miz points at his ear to hear the cheers of the crowd only to hear….nothing.

Ryback runs, gets sent into the corner, and The Mi kicks the leg. Ryback comes back and just flkips Miz over, then hits the back a few times. Belly to Back toss, and Ryback is lookin all kinds of beastly. Ryback grabs the head of The Miz and just slams it down to the mat a few times. Ryback calls to Jericho. Ryback with some kicks. He grabs The Miz, snapmare then a mule kick to the neck. Well damn.

Official Result: The Miz
I don’t…I have no….what?
RATING: **

Jericho claims he’s had enough and leaves the announce booth, then heads into the ring and hits the Codebreaker.

And now, a look at the best Triple Threat Mania Main Event in history!:

The music of Mark Henry hits, and the World’s Strongest Man and future Emmy winner is here with a mic. He didn’t get his name out of some cracker jack box, y’all. He was the strongest kid. When he was in Texas, breakin world records, he repped the US in 92 and 96. The crowd is chanting WHAT, like idiots. He has maintained his status for the past 17 years, where he earned the respect of every superstar he ever worked with. But in a professional environment, there is jealousy, politics, and a lot of backstabbing. A lot of “accidental injuries.” All these years, they never gave him the opportunity to get the WWE Title. All the nights and miles and years pretending that he liked the boys (and they are still what-ing. geez…)

All the years of doin the right thing for the bidness got him nowhere, and he deserves to be the WWE Champion. The crowd hangs on every single word he says, and they just a bunch of puppets. At Money in the Bank, ain’t nobody gonna keep him down. He’s gonna do the right thing, alright. The right thing for Spike Lee him. After he beats John Cena, no one in the world will be able to deny him. Everybody going to say, “Gawd, that Mark Henry, he earned that WWE Championship.”

He want the camera right in his face. “John Cena, at Money in the Bank, I’m gon’ Beat Yo Ass!”

YES!!

Backstage, Mr. McMahon is with Vickie, LOVIN the show. He wants to know if Vickie saw Bryan out there. McMahon wants to remind Vickie of what he said about Bryan. About his size, his issues. McMahon says the main event sounds awesome. McMahon says this is a great main event, but money is being thrown away! This main event should be on PPV! You just give away the match for FREE?! Somewhere, Csonka is spittin Gentleman Jack at the screen…

Vince tells them to remember that there is a list a mile long who have been fired because they wouldn’t listen or do what Vince said.

Match 6: CM Punk and Curtis Axel vs The Primetime Players

Punk tells Axel to get on the apron, cuz he got this. Axel waits for the bell to ring then tags himself in. Young and Axel to start. Lockup, and Axel hits a sweet arm drag. Punk calls for the tag, but nope. Axel in the corner, and he beats some sense into Young. Chop to the chest. Whip is reversed but Axel fires back quickly with a clothesline. Punk wants the tag again, but Axel denies him. Tag to Titus, and Axel hits a nice lookin dropkick. Titus is up with a hard clothesline. Titus mocks Punk and looks for a go-behind. He drops Axel, but holds onto the right arm. Titus drags Axel over to the corner, tags in Young, then front suplexes Young onto Axel. Pin for 1…2…NO!

Uppercut from Young. Titus tags himself in. Kicks in the corner to Axel. Titus with an abdominal stretch in the middle of the ring. Right hands from Axel. He goes for the tag, but Titus ain’t havin it, and just tosses Axel aside again. Titus runs into the corner, right into some knees from Axel! Axel is crawling for a tag, and the crowd wants it to. Tag to Punk. Tag to Young. Punk flies off the top rope with a clothesline, sends Titus to the outside. Dropkick! Swinging neckbreaker to Young! Punk is lookin for the knee! He hits the running knee, drops Young with a clothesline, and calls for the elbow! He hits it! Punk hits the G2S! Titus runs in, and Punk sends him over! Blind Tag from Axel! He pins Young! 1…2….3!! Punk is not too happy bout that.
Official Result: CM Punk and Curtis Axel
Hey, look, Axel got a win that wasn’t a countout!!
RATING: **

Heyman wants to hold up both Punk and Axel’s hand, but Punk don’t want it. He walks out.

Match 7: Kaitlyn (w/ Layla) vs Alicia Fox

Lockup, and Alicia sends Kaitlyn to the ropes. The ref breaks it up, Alicia goes for a kick, Kaitlyn grabs the leg and hits a cltohesline. Another. Jacknife cover for 2. Kaitlyn with a whip, reversed by Alicia, but Kaitlyn stops it with a boot, then turns into a dropkick. Pin for 1…2..NO! Another pin only gets 2. Alicia sends Kaitlyn to the corner with some shoulders. A nice over the head suplex into a bridge from Alicia for 1…2..NO! Another pin only gets 2. Alicia goes for a flip leg drop, but Kaitlyn misses. She hits the ropes. Spear. 1…2…3!!
Official Result:

RATING: *

Instead of Kaitlyn’s music hitting, here comes AJ. She says hi, and I say hello, too. She says that on Smackdown, Kaitlyn tried to assassinate her character. AJ tells Kaitlyn that she is just trash. She brings up Kaitlyn’s “unsavory modelling pictures” that she took before the E. AJ brought one! It’s a blown up photo of Fat Kaitlyn, and this feud continues to fall so quickly. AJ says Kaitlyn is going to end up chubby after Money in the Bank yet again.

Backstage, Vickie is giving Maddox some direction, until Steph comes in. She wants to know what the hell is goin on with the Divas. Steph says that she asked Vickie to manage AJ two weeks ago, and Vickie didn’t listen, just like last week. Vickie stresses out, says she’s got too many voices in her head, calls it really tough. Steph understands. RAW’s unpredictability is great, but when confusing directions from the top are given, how could Vickie survive? Vickie then pulls the women card and says that Trips and Vince are cra cray. Steph takes offense, says they ain’t girlfriends, and that Vickie can’t sit with her. She doesn’t appreciate vickie making fun of Vince and Steph. Next week on RAW, there will be an official job evaluation, publicly.

Remember, if you are not reading this on www.411wrestling.com/wrestling, you’re probably going to die…

Before the next match, Sandow wants to make a statement. In two weeks time, his best friend and himself will be in a ladder match for a contract. Despite this, they will remain best friends.

Rhodes says that he and Sandow are the last of their kind. They will not lower themselves to the people’s level. Sandow asks for silence. You’re Welcome.

Before the match, but after Cody and Sandow had something to say, Zebby is here to say some stuffs, then invites a Real American back…Jack Swagger. Both men stand behind Zeb, then head on out. Zeb says everyone to choose your side now, and choose wisely.

Match 8: Cody Rhodes vs Antonio Cesaro

Lockup! They tangle amongst the ropes till Cody slaps Cesaro. Cesaro tries for his, but Cody shoots. Cesaro goes down, though, then gets a guthold. Cesaro with a toss across the mat! Nice! Both men up. Go behind from Cody, into a side headlock. Whip. Cody hops over, Cesaro misses a clothesline, so Cody hits an uppercut then a roll up for 1…2.NO! Awesome lil sequence. Cody with a rollup, tries for a pin, but Cesaro grabs the face then double stomps Cody. Cesaro with a kick in the corner, but Cody hits a double kick then uses the ropes to pin for 2. Cesaro with an uppercut, sending Cody to the outside.

Cesaro to the outside, and he rolls Cody in the ring. Cody hits the apron, then hangs up Cesaro. He comes in for a backslide, but Cesaro rolls though and hits the Nuetralizer Pin for 1…2..3!!
Official Result: Antonio Cesaro
Holy shit is it fun to watch Cesaro! And Cody did great, too!
RATING: *1/2

Backstage, The Bellas are meeting two new Divas, Eva Marie and Curly Haired Girl. Bellas get all mean and say these two need to respect. The two new girls say that all the divas are the stars, and Nikki says not all stars shine bright. Here are the Funkadactyls and Natalya. The Bellas say they’re carrying all the weight, and Natalya should know all about that. Nattie says that this is nothing but The Bellas just self-promoting. The Bellas say that the point is that the Divas are finally gtting the attention they deserve, so the others need to be reminded who is in charge. They say it ain’t Kaitlyn or AJ or any of them.

If what we just saw is any preview of what will be the Divas show, then I really took the show idea, “WWE Divas on E” the completely wrong way….

Apparently, the Wyatt family will be coming NEXT WEEK!

And CM Punk will be on Smackdown.

Match 9: Champion vs Champion
John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio

Lockup, into sideheadlock take down from Del Rio. Rope work into an arm drag by Cena, followed by a headlock take down from Cena. Del Rio sends Cena to the ropes, so Cena his the shoulder tackle. He’s up top in the corner! Del Rio turns, notices Ziggler! Cena reverses into the AA! Pin! 1…2…3!!!
