Muhammad Hassan Wrestles First Match in Thirteen Years at Indy Show
Muhammad Hassan worked his first match in thirteen years this weekend. You cna see video below of Hassan at Saturday’s Dynasty King of Thrones show in Amsterdam, New York where he defeated Papadon.
Hassan last worked in WWE in a controversial angle on Smackdown in June of 2005. Working under a terrorist gimmick, Hassan came out and prayed on the entrance ramp as five masked men attacked Undertaker. The segment was hotly criticized due to its having taken place after a terror attack in London, and after the backlash, UPN pressured WWE to take Hassan off of television. He was written off television, losing a match to Undertaker at Great American Bash, then sent back to developmental. He was released in September of that year and announced his retirement.
