ORIGINAL: As we previously reported, Nia Jax attacked R-Truth at the Royal Rumble and stole his #30 spot, making her only the fourth woman to ever enter the Men’s Royal rumble match (after Chyna, Beth Phoenix and Kharma). According to Rajah, R-Truth had to be held back by agents, specifically Brian “Road Dogg” James, in the backstage area, after Jax attacked him. Truth was said to be “hot” at Jax and claimed that she hurt his “ankle and face” during the attack. James had to “hold (Truth) back” from going to “hunt” Jax.
WWE ended up posting a video of Truth looking for Jax to get an apology, but there was no footage of any aggression or anyone holding him back as described.
Jerry Lawler seemingly confirmed this report on his podcast (via SportsKeeda). He said: “And this got real heat for real. She blasted poor R-Truth and knocked him face-first into that wall. He was hot, for real hot. They were having to hold him back there. She made it look good.”
R-Truth’s week got better, as he won the US title on Smackdown.
