NJPW Announces Three-Night Wrestle Kingdom 16 for January 2022

– It’s official. Next year’s Wrestle Kingdom 16 will now be held over three nights. During last night’s Wrestle Grand Slam at at the MetLife Dome in Saitama, Japan, New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW) announced that Wrestle Kingdom 16 will be held over three nights in January 2022 in celebration of NJPW’s 50th anniversary.

Nights 1 & 2 will be held at the Tokyo Dome on Tuesday, January 4 and Wednesday, January 5. This will be held by Night 2 at the Yokohama Arena on Saturday, January 8. This will be the first time New Japan will hold a live event under the Wrestle Kingdom banner outside of the Tokyo Dome.
