Arn Anderson Would Rather Have Faced Brock Lesnar Than Bruiser Brody, Who He Learned The Most From
On the latest episode of The ARN Show, Arn Anderson talked about why he would’ve rather wrestled a safer Brock Lesnar than Bruiser Brody, who he learned the most from and more. You can check out some highlights below:
On who he learned the most from: “I learned a lot working with Ronnie Garvin. Now there’s a guy that if you had 20 minutes, you could go out and build a story and a contest, and it’d be a wrestling match. The first time he chopped you, the first time he hit you in the guts, or the first time he stomped you, it was because you had already asked for it. But you needed, with Ronnie you needed 20, 25 minutes. [Ricky] Steamboat was always just such a great babyface. Everything from his look to his ability to work to his ring psychology, you name it. And you would learn on the job.”
Arn Anderson on who he’d rather wrestle – Brock Lesnar or Bruiser Brody: “God almighty. I don’t know, I always viewed Brody as being wild and reckless and stiff. And really, if the truth’s no regard to the health and wellbeing of his opponent. I don’t think Lesnar is that way. I think she’s just a beast, and what Brock’s gonna do, he’s gonna impose his will on you, whatever that is. But I think he would be safer in the ring. Brock is the safe option? Yes.”
