Eli Knight & Sean Legacy Jointly Win Match on WWE NXT After Keanu Carver Takes Out Jasper Troy

Eli Knight and Sean Legacy picked up a double pin on Tuesday, jointly winning triple threat bout after Keanu Carver destroyed Jasper Troy. Tuesday night’s episode saw Knight, Legacy, and Troy compete in a triple threat match for a shot at the Speed Championship. Knight and Legacy both won after Carver got involved in the match.

Carver came down to ringside while Troy was on the outside and put him through the announce table. Troy was tended to by officials as Legacy and Knight battled it out in the ring. Eventually, Troy returned to the match and put up a fight, but he fell to the combined offense of the other two. Knight hit a moonsault from the top rope and both Legacy and Knight covered for a simultaneous pinfall.

The referee then announced that both men were declared the winner. While the match had previously been teased as a #1 contenders match, it was said later in the show that they would need to go through another #1 contenders tournament to get a title shot. The title is currently in the possession of Elio LeFleur, who won the title from Troy in a triple threat also including Knight. LeFleur won the title on the February 23rd episode of NXT.
