Women’s Intercontinental Champion Sol Ruca has made her X (FKA Twitter) account private and blacked out the profile picture following recent fan backlash on social media.
Ruca was a part of the Fatal Four-Way match at a WWE live event in Birmingham, England, on Sunday. That match saw Liv Morgan defend the Women’s World Championship against Sol, IYO SKY, and Lyra Valkyria.
During the match, Liv had an injury scare when Sol awkwardly landed on her right foot following a Springboard Crossbody attempt. A video of the spot quickly went viral on social media, leading to some fans criticizing Ruca.
The Women’s Intercontinental Champion has since made her X account private and blacked out the profile picture.
Meanwhile, Dave Meltzer provided an update on Liv Morgan following the injury scare in Birmingham during the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio (WOR). Meltzer said that the impact did not appear to be as bad as initially feared, noting that Sol Ruca landed close to Liv’s foot as opposed to her knee. You can read the report HERE.
Neither WWE nor Liv Morgan has commented on the incident so far.
