Wren Sinclair Retains Women’s Speed Title At NXT Great American Bash
Wren Sinclair walked out of NXT Great American Bash with her Women’s Speed Title reign intact, defeating Arianna Grace. Sinclair put her title on the line against the BirthRight member on Sunday’s The CW-airing PLE.
The match went almost all the way to the five minute time limit, with Grace battling Sinclair tooth and nail but not managing to put the champion away. Grace went after Sinclair’s knee, but Sinclair fought through and knocked her former NQCC ally Charlie Dempsey off the apron when he tried to distract her, kicking out of a roll-up immediately after. She then applied the Cattle Mutilation and made Grace tap out to retain the title.
You can see a couple of clips from the NXT Great American Bash match below. Sinclair’s title reign is up to 103 days now. She won the championship from Fatal Influence’s Fallon Henley on the March 17th episode of WWE NXT.
