Paul Wight says that he’s going to be “doing something” in the ring during tonight’s Beach Break episode of AEW Dynamite. Tonight’s episode takes place at The BayCare Sound in Clearwater, Florida, and Wight appeared on 10 Tampa Bay News for a new interview to promote the show.
Wight, who hasn’t competed in the ring since 2024, hyped up the show and said that he’ll “be in the ring” and may “slap some people around.” You can see the highlights below:
On What To Expect at the Show:
“We’re going to have some great matches. We have MJF, who is a very popular talent. He was in an Adam Sandler movie. He’s a bad guy, not many people like him. He’s a little bit mouthy, taking on Kenny Omega for the AEW World Championship. We’ve got another local, Chris Jericho will be competing. We’ve got (Konosuke) Takeshita vs. Kyle Fletcher. So there’s a lot of great AEW talent. So good night of wrestling. Good night of entertainment.”
On His Involvement In the Show:
“Great live event, and also I’m going to be in the ring doing something. I can’t tell you what, because it’s a big secret. But if you come, you will see me maybe slap some people around.”
