Adam Copeland Says Steve Maclin Should Be Wrestling’s Most Wanted Free Agent

Steve Maclin received high praise from Adam Copeland after their match at MLP Northern Rising on Saturday night. Last night’s show was main evented by Copeland battling Maclin in singles action. Copeland was able to ultimately score the win in the street fight.

After the show, Copeland put Maclin over in a promo to the audience as a man who should be the most sought after free agent in the business. He said:

“No matter what I think of Steve Maclin as a person, that man should be the most wanted free agent in this industry. No, he’s that damn good.”

The show took place at Mattamy Athletic Centre in Toronto and also featured Josh Alexander vs. Stu Grayson to unify the MLP Canadian Championship, Priscilla Kelly defeating Nikki Storm to defend the MLP Women’s Canadian Championship and more.

Steve Maclin made a surprise appearance at AEW Dynamite early last month to promote his match with Copeland, attacking the AEW star. When asked about whether he would be joining AEW after, he said, “Time will tell.”
