Premiere Date Set For Heels Season Two

UPDATE: PWInsider has updated their original article to note that sources at Starz have reached out to deny that Heels will premiere on October 9th, and to clarify that an official announcement on a premiere date has not been made.

ORIGINAL: The second season of Heels arrives next month. PWInsider reports that Starz will bow the second season of the Stephen Amell-starring wrestling drama on October 9th. That will be almost a full year after the series was renewed in November of 2021.

The first season of the show aired from August to October of last year and starred Amell as Jack Spade, the top heel and booker of the fictional Duffy Wrestling League in Georgia, who was trying to keep the promotion going in the wake of his father’s death. The series also stars Alexander Ludwig as Jack’s brother Ace Spade, Alison Luff, Mary McCormack, Kelli Berglund, Allen Maldonado, James Harrison, Roxton Garcia, and Chris Bauer. Created by Michael Waldron (Loki), the series is described as follows:

Set in a tightly-knit Georgia community and telling the story of two brothers (played by Amell and Ludwig) chasing their dreams of becoming professional wrestlers and the people in their orbit, Heels is a gripping drama that tells the story of small town America like nothing else.
