AEW Collision Return Draws 346,000 Viewers, Numbers Drop for Battle of the Belts XII
– Wrestlenomics has the Saturday viewership and ratings for AEW Collision and the final edition of Battle of the Belts. Collision and Battle of the Belts XII ran back-to-back last Saturday night on TNT over three hours. Both shows aired via tape delay and were taped last Thursday. Collision was also back on the air last weekend after taking the previous weekend off since AEW WrestleDream aired on a Saturday night.
Last Saturday’s AEW Collision averaged 346,000 viewers. Viewership increased by 29% from the October 5 episode, which averaged 269,000 viewers.
In the P18-49 key ratings demo, Collision drew a 0.10 rating. The rating also increased from the previous episode, which drew an average 0.05 rating. The TNT broadcast finished at No. 4 in the key demo rankings on Saturday behind the ALCS game coverage on TBS, and the college football games airing on ESPN and FS1.
Meanwhile, Battle of the Belts XII on TNT averaged 304,000 viewers, which accounts for the lowest viewership to date for the quarterly special. Viewership decreased from Battle of the Belts XI in July, which averaged 308,000 viewers. In the P18-49 key demo ratings, Battle of the Belts XII drew an average 0.08 rating, slightly down from the 0.09 rating for Battle of the Belts XI.
Battle of the Belts began as a series of quarterly specials in January 2022. The first edition averaged 704,000 viewers and a key demo rating of 0.27. Battle of the Belts IX in January 2024 averaged 351,000 viewers and a 0.09 rating. Viewership increased for Battle of the Belts X in April to 422,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating.
