AEW Dynamite saw both its ratings and audience slip back a bit from last week’s jump heading into AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Wednesday’s show brought in a 0.10 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic and 616,000 viewers per Programming Insider. As always, these numbers do not include HBO Max viewing.

Those numbers are down 16.7% and 7.4% respectively from the previous week’s 0.12 demo rating and 665,000 viewers. The demo rating and audience were both better than two weeks ago, when the show garnered a 0.08 and 542,000 viewers.

The FIFA World Cup matches on FOX led the way with a 2.25 demo rating and 6.457 million viewers for the 8:40 PM game and a 2.06/5.973 million for the 6 PM game, followed by the analysis show between the games (1.56 demo rating and 4.409 million viewers).

As a reminder, Nielsen made an adjustment to its Big Data + Panel numbers in late January, and even the original Big Data + Panel ratings make things difficult to compare to pre-change weeks. That said. AEW Dynamite is currently averaging a 0.110 demo rating and 632,000 viewers in 2026 compared to a 0.167 and 623,000 for the same time period in 2025.
