Alberto El Patron Doesn’t Show at Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground Show

– Alberto El Patron failed to appear at Friday night’s Impact Wrestling vs. Lucha Underground event at WrestleCon. PWInsider reports that Patron, who was supposed to be part of the tag team main event alongside Pentagon Dark against Austin Aries and Ray Fenix, didn’t appear as planned.

The main event match was changed to a triple threat match between the three, which the crowd didn’t like. According to the site, “F**k Del Rio” chants took place during the match.

The word backstage is that Patron no-showed the event, though that is not confirmed and one Impact source said that Patron told the show’s organizers that he had become sick. He had appeared earlier in the day as part of as live streaming press conference witgh Austin Aries promoting their match at Impact Redemption.
