In an interview with In The Kliq (via Fightful), Alexa Bliss spoke about working with Bray Wyatt in 2020 and 2021, noting her fears that she would mess things up. The pairing saw Bliss drastically change her character from what it had been before, more aligned with that of Wyatt.

She said: “It was so fun. I always say it was the most fun I’ve ever had in my career because it was such fun, a fun challenge because he- when I first joined with, with Bray, I remember thinking, ‘I don’t want to be the one to mess this up.’ Cause he had such a cool thing going with the Firefly Funhouse and the Wyatt family and the whole thing. So for me, I was stepping into his world and I wasn’t going to be the one to bring it down. So I remember when I first started working with him, he gave me this whole – because he does deep dives on his characters, right? Deep, deep dives and all this research, and he was like, ‘watch these documentaries. Watch these scary movies. Watch this. Watch this. Take notes on this.’ It really made me appreciate the fact that he never – it wasn’t just doing research on your character. He created a whole world for his character, and that was something that I took with me is – you have to know your character inside and out. You have to know where they grew up. You have to know the world that they live in. You have to know what is reality to them and just what we see in front of us. That was something that really opened my eyes character wise, and he was a creative genius and he saw the world of WWE in a different way than anyone else ever has and he created this whole alternate universe within the WWE universe. That was something that I found so fascinating. It’s creativity. He was, and anytime he would start to talk about creative, you, it was like, you had to keep up because he was, his mind was just going. It was so cool to not only witness, but be a part of, and the fact that, we’re continuing his story with the Wyatt Sicks and we have the horrors of the Wyatt Sicks House at the Universals, and I think it’s so cool. I just love that. We’re keeping the WWE as a whole is just keeping his vision alive and keeping him alive in that. I think that he would be super happy with everything that we’re doing to, you know, keep it going.
