Backstage Notes on AEW Inviting Donovan Dijak to Forbidden Door, Ricochet Update

– Fightful Select has an update on new wrestling free agents Donovan Dijak and Ricochet. As previously reported, Ricochet became a free agent when his WWE contract expired yesterday.
According to the report, AEW did not have any discussions on using Dijak or Ricochet at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door 2024, which took place on Sunday, June 30. As previously reported, Dijak was in attendance at the event and reportedly backstage during the show.
It’s noted that AEW invited Dijak to visit. There were no talks of using Ricochet since his WWE deal didn’t expire yet on that day. It’s rumored that Ricochet will soon be signing with AEW.
