Backstage Status Update on AJ Styles Following WWE Crown Jewel

– During today’s Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported on the current status of AJ Styles, who has recently been MIA from Raw. Styles was last seen at WWE Crown Jewel 2021 last month in Saudi Arabia. He and tag team partner, Omos, lost a Raw tag team title match against champs RK-Bro (Randy Orton and Riddle).

According to Meltzer, AJ Styles is dealing with a “non-injury medical issue,” which is reportedly why he hasn’t recently been on TV. There are no other details on yet on what the medical issue could be.

Omos did appear on last night’s Raw and worked an angle with RK-Bro.
